We know that our customers and their residents expect the highest standards. That is why we recruit people with the right attitude and personality and then train and motivate them so that they can provide the best possible customer care.
The emphasis on customer care is also reflected in our commitment to achieving BSI accreditation, Investors In People status and the huge amount of time we spend on training. Cirrus was recognised by the National Business Awards for its focus on staff engagement and development, achieving the Employer of the Year award in 2009.
Investing in the future
We carry out performance development reviews with all staff, inductions and ongoing training programmes which can include external NVQs and diplomas.
Cirrus has partnered with the Institute of Engineering Technologies (IET) to raise its professional standards by accrediting all engineers with a professional recognition for their achievements, during their careers as engineers in the industry.
We also run a Fire Apprenticeship Scheme through Gent by Honeywell. The apprenticeship scheme offers staff the opportunity to work towards a Level 2 and Level 3 NVQ City and Guilds 1852 and 1882 qualification (Security and emergency alarm systems for fire detection and fire alarm systems).
All staff are also thoroughly vetted before they start working on customer premises to give you and your residents added reassurance.
