Small Works

Our Small Works service provides minor installations or adaptations and extensions of existing systems. It carries out more than 3000 small works and installations and modifies around 500 systems each year.

Technology can become obsolete or damaged and this is where the Small Works department can often help, providing additional features, prolonging system operation, or expanding the current number of users and devices.

The team handle a wide range of jobs including; replacement or repair of equipment as a result of vandalism or accidental damage, relocation of equipment such as pull cords or door entry handsets and extension or upgrade of existing fire alarm, CCTV and access control systems. Small Works can also carry out equipment surveys and compile asset registers for existing systems including condition reports.

Small works can often be linked to an unexpected or time critical event. In these situations the team can prioritise and fast track jobs to ensure timescales are met.

The service is available nationally to both existing maintenance customers and new clients requiring support on an ad-hoc basis. Fixed prices are offered for many small jobs with discounts also available to contracted maintenance customers.
